Family winery, biodynamic farming

Ramon Pahí Llort

📍 Poboleda

Celler Pahí is a small family winery in the center of Poboleda, in the heart of DOQ Priorat, run by winemaker Ramon Pahí Llort. The estate farms twelve hectares of vines spread across three distinct plots -Maset dels Perellons, Salanca and l'Arbossar- each with its own soil and exposure.

Rather than vinifying each plot separately as a single-vineyard wine, the winery prefers to blend them to draw out the best of each terrain and give its red wines -sold under the Gaubança label, with bottlings such as Gaubança Negre and Gaubança Carrusel- a character of their own. Vineyard farming has been moving toward biodynamic practices, with an emphasis on respecting the environment.

Producing around 35,000 bottles a year, the winery offers guided tours of its facilities with tastings of its wines, along with food pairings for visitors.
