Mas Trucafort is a farmhouse a kilometre and a half outside Falset, set on a six-hectare estate with olive, walnut, holm oak and fruit trees. The house reopened in 2013 as a farmhouse grill specialising in wood-fire cooking, after the owners had previously run the Siurana restaurant. Signature dishes include mountain rice, calçots (from January to late March or early April, depending on the season) and Km 0 meats, often paired with DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant wines.
The kitchen works with local products such as PDO Siurana extra virgin olive oil, quince paste and black botifarra sausage, and chef Roger runs show-cooking sessions for diners. The main dining room seats around 60, and the first floor has five ensuite guest rooms for an adults-oriented stay.
