Vinyes Compte is a family project run by Miquel Compte and Paloma Romeral, which began in 2011 making wine at La Querida, a vineyard inherited from Miquel's grandfather. At first they made wine only for themselves and friends, until those friends' enthusiasm encouraged them to start producing it commercially.
One of their wines is BK Rosat, a single-variety rosé made from Garnatxa Negra (black garnacha), with an intense salmon-pink color, aromas of red fruit and floral notes, and a mineral edge, made to pair with fish, shellfish, and both white and red meats.
Despite having grown as a project - now with more than ten years of history - they keep the original spirit of making wine "for friends," alongside a wish to gradually broaden their range of wines.
