Cooperativa Falset-Marçà is based in the former Celler Cooperatiu de Falset, a modernist building constructed in 1919 by architect César Martinell i Brunet, commissioned by the Falset Agricultural Syndicate with advice from oenologist Erasme d'Imbert. The building, with a basilica-like layout of a central nave and two side naves separated by parabolic brick arches, and underground cylindrical vats, is one of the finest examples of Catalonia's so-called "wine cathedrals" and is listed as a National Cultural Heritage Asset (BCIN).
Under the Montsant appellation, the cooperative now produces wines and vermouths using varieties such as Carinyena (Carignan) and Syrah, sold mainly under the ÈTIM brand (including the Sinestèsics range) and Castell de Falset, alongside bottlings such as the organic Fuïna or L'Esparver Negre d'Eric Lahon. The winery presents itself as a project spanning over a century, aiming for wines that express the fruit, minerality and character of the local terroir.
Besides wine, the cooperative runs a farm shop (agrobotiga) selling wine, vermouth, oil and other local products, and the historic cellar itself hosts visits and wine-tourism activities.
