Cellers Pascona is located in the Vall dels Fontanals, near Falset, within DO Montsant. The estate's history dates back to the 13th century, when the land belonged to the Cartuja de Escaladei monastery and the Barony of Entença; in 1827 the physician Pere Pascó i Pi acquired several plots there. The property passed down through generations to twin sisters known as "the Pascones," who raised an orphaned girl, Assumpta Rull, who inherited the estate. Married to Antoni Ripoll Bartolomé, he began producing wine in 1991, and their son Toni Ripoll relaunched the project in 2006 under the name Pascona, in tribute to the two sisters.

The 20-hectare vineyard is spread across three soil types (clay, granite, and slate), producing distinct microclimates and giving each parcel's wine its own character. Native garnacha and cariñena predominate, complemented by syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. The winery champions "terroir wines" and brings the grapes from field to cellar within minutes to preserve their integrity.

Wines produced include Lo Pare, La Mare, Lo Petitó, La Germana, La Maria Ganxa, Lo Noi del Sac, Trencaclosques, the Clàssic Pascona, and two limited editions, La Reina Dolça and La Reina Rància, that recall the estate's family history.
