Els Guiamets is a village in the south of the Priorat, within DO Montsant, with a cooperative winery founded in 1917, now part of the Unió group, producing red and white wines plus mistela. Its natural landmark is the Guiamets reservoir, built between 1951 and 1971, visible from the village and from the el Calvari viewpoint (244 m), reachable on foot from Capçanes; the reservoir allows permitted fishing and camping nearby. The parish church of Sant Lluís, in a Renaissance style with three naves and eight side altars, dates from 1791.

Along the Asmà stream lie les Olles, a series of saucepan-shaped pools and small waterfalls. The la Tosseta archaeological site yielded around a hundred Upper Paleolithic flint blades, one of Catalonia's most significant prehistoric finds. The Festa Major, held August 20-25, honors Sant Lluís and Sant Fèlix with sardana dancing and music.
