Terroir al Límit was founded in 2001 in Torroja del Priorat by Dominik A. Huber, a German-born wine enthusiast who had interned at Mas Martinet and worked in the Pérez family's vineyards, and South African winemaker Eben Sadie, whom he met there. The pair opened their own cellar in the village in 2003. Sadie returned to South Africa in 2012, and Huber has continued running the winery on his own since, moving further into organic and biodynamic viticulture.

The winery works mainly with old-vine Garnacha and Carignan, both within DOQ Priorat and, later, in neighboring DO Montsant, where its wines are released under the "Terroir sense Fronteres" label. Its Priorat range includes Terra de Cuques, Arbossar, Dits del Terra, Pedra de Guix, Les Manyes and Les Tosses, alongside the Terroir Històric range blended from grapes sourced across the region.

The house style favors elegance through gentle "infusion" rather than heavy extraction, aiming for wines suited to Mediterranean food culture. Terroir al Límit runs guided tastings (Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru) at its Torroja del Priorat cellar, currently led by Dominik Huber and Tatjana Peceric, and also produces olive oil.
