Priorat Aparthotel occupies a restored building in central Falset, the comarca capital, once the town's dairy and butcher shop known as Cal Maleno; the name has been kept in tribute to the former owners. It has five studios and a penthouse, each with a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and balcony.
The units are named after artists — the Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Gaudí and Yeats studios, and the Rothko penthouse — and the building houses a collection of contemporary art by Irish and Spanish artists.
It offers free wifi, air-conditioning, a lift and parking, and makes a convenient base for touring the DOQ Priorat and DO Montsant wineries.
