Restaurant Siurana is a family restaurant in the elevated medieval village of Siurana, run by the same family for more than 50 years, currently by Andreu Bartolomé and Maria Casademunt. It specialises in grilled lamb and kid goat from its own flock — around 800 head that graze daily in the Montsant mountains, tended by Andreu and two other shepherds. It also serves house-made sausage (longaniza, botifarra), cottage cheese (mató) and regional wines.
The kitchen is traditional Catalan, unhurried and often cooked over grill coals or wood fire: roasted lamb shoulder, pig's trotters, and snails prepared the grandmother's way. It is very popular with the climbers and hikers who visit Siurana and the Montsant mountains. It is open only at midday and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
