The Perinet family, of French origin, settled on this land in the 18th century, though the modern project bearing their name did not begin until 1998, and was reinvented by new owners in 2014. The winery is located in La Morera de Montsant, adjoining the villages of Poboleda and Porrera, in the northern part of DOQ Priorat, along the Siurana river and at the foot of the Montsant mountain range.

The estate spans more than 30 hectares of vineyards planted on steeply terraced slopes, with Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties. The winery also produces DO Montsant wines through its sister winery Clos Maria, located in Poboleda. Among its wines, the Vinya Pendents Carinyena 2018 stands out, having received favorable scores from Wine Spectator magazine.

The building, with its modern architecture and large scale, is considered a local landmark; in 2022 it received recognition from the Reus Chamber of Commerce for its innovation and digitization efforts. The winery offers guided tours and tastings, including a walk through the nearest vineyards and a tasting of three current wines paired with local products.
