Masia Duch

Masia Duch is a winery based at the Finca El Tancat estate, very close to the Scala Dei Charterhouse, in the municipality of la Morera de Montsant, within DOQ Priorat. Winemaking there has been directed by Delfí Duch, following classical production methods.
The winery produces, among others, two wines: "El Bressol", dominated by garnacha blended with cabernet sauvignon, and "El Tancat", with a higher proportion of merlot and cabernet. Both aim for finesse and balance rather than the exuberance and power often associated with other Priorat wines.
This more restrained, aging-oriented style offers a different reading of Priorat, distinct from the region's better-known, more powerful wines, and adds diversity within the appellation.
