Celler Mas de les Vinyes is located in Cabacés, within DO Montsant, and is a family winery founded in 1999, although the family has lived and worked this land since the 1930s. For decades they ran a diversified farm and sold their grapes to the local cooperative, until they decided to bottle wine under their own name.
Their vineyards combine traditional varieties such as garnacha (garnatxa), cariñena and macabeo with more modern ones like merlot and syrah, alongside one of the oldest cabernet sauvignon plantings in the area; some vines are over fifty years old. From these come wines such as Mas de les Vinyes (white, red and criança), Racó d'Atans Criança, Traca i Mocador (red and white) and EIXUT.
The winery describes itself with the motto "experience, youth, tradition, modernity" and aims for noble, honest, complex wines. They offer wine tourism with cellar visits and tastings, and even donkey walks through their vineyards, blending the world of wine with the estate's livestock-farming tradition.
