Celler Mas Basté is a family winery in Gratallops, in the heart of Priorat, founded in 1989 by the Basté brothers and expanded in 2003 when the second generation joined. It now operates, together with neighboring Celler de l'Abadia, under the joint venture known as Familia Basté: the two wineries share land, vineyards, facilities and equipment, though each vinifies its own wines independently, following its own criteria and taste.

The vineyards, roughly 15 hectares of which about 5 are currently in production, sit on steep, slate ("llicorella") terrain some 40 km from the Mediterranean. Grape varieties grown include black and white Garnacha, Cariñena, Samsó, Syrah, Pedro Ximénez and Viognier.

Wines include Sant Jeroni (white and rosé), Peites (young and crianza styles) and Clos Peites, a limited cuvée of only a few hundred bottles aged for an extended period in French oak. Several vintages have received favorable scores in the Peñín Guide.
