Clos Figueras, founded in 1997 by Christopher Cannan in the centre of the Gratallops municipality, is one of the pioneering wineries of the Priorat's renaissance, with Grenache and Carignan vines on slate.
The visit covers the history of the Priorat and the winery and includes a tasting of its wines. The estate also has a shop, a restaurant (Les Figueres) and accommodation with three rooms.
The guided visit lasts one hour and includes a tasting of four wines (Serras del Priorat, Font de la Figuera white and red, and Clos Figueres): 35 € per person, or 30 € for groups of ten or more. Advance booking is required, by phone (671 49 10 81) or email (enoturisme@closfigueras.com); availability runs Monday to Sunday.
