The Ardèvol family has grown grapes in Porrera since the 13th century, though production was abandoned around the 1930s-40s when hazelnut growing became more profitable. In 1995, Josep and Albert Ardèvol, together with Roser Galceran, revived the family vineyards and founded the winery; its first wine, Coma d'en Romeu, was released in 2000.
The vineyards, about 10 hectares in total, are spread across three plots at different altitudes and orientations: La Coma d'en Romeu (400 m, southeast-facing, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon), El Menescal / Mas d'en Pubill (450 m, south-facing, with Syrah and Garnacha), and Mas d'en Caçador (500 m, north-facing, with Merlot), alongside some Carignan.
The winery follows organic and biodynamic practices, without synthetic herbicides or fertilizers, with hand harvesting and sorting, open-vat fermentation, and aging in French oak barrels. Terra d'Hom is considered the wine that best represents the estate; Anjoli, released in 2003, is named after the daughter Roser Galceran adopted in Nepal.
