Celler Anguera Domènech is located in Darmós (Tivissa), in the Ribera d’Ebre area, within DO Montsant. It grew out of a long family tradition: the Anguera Cedó family — led by Enric Anguera Cedó — is now the fifth generation to farm these vineyards, some more than 50 years old, across roughly twelve hectares.
The vines are laid out on terraces over clay soils rich in minerals, in a Mediterranean climate with some continental influence that produces a strong day-night temperature contrast; combined with low rainfall, this gives moderate yields and good ripening. The estate grows Garnacha, Samsó (Carignan), Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot and Monastrell.
Grapes are hand-harvested at the optimal moment for each variety and fermented in underground vats with careful control of temperature and skin contact, aiming for wines with fruity aromas and violet tones. The winery produces three distinct wines — a Criança (aged red), the young Vinya Gasó, and the Reclot rosé — sold directly at the property year-round as well as through shops and restaurants; the wines regularly appear at fairs such as Móra la Nova, Falset, and Reus Viu el Vi.
