Els Tallers is the restaurant of the eight-room boutique Hotel La Siuranella, in Siurana. It offers contemporary takes on Tarragona and Priorat cuisine, with a daily-changing seasonal menu and pairings from its cellar. In July and August service moves to the Montsant terrace, with mountain views.
The project is run by chef Pau Escriu, trained at Las Rejas, Mugaritz and Can Fabes, together with his partner, French-born Anaïs Chauveau. Rather than an à la carte menu, they offer two daily-changing tasting menus: the shorter "Arrels" and the longer "(Re)-Creatiu," which includes a dessert course the chef finishes tableside in view of diners. The cellar holds around 80 references focused on Montsant and Priorat wines. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday for dinner, closing for a few weeks in January; Monday and Tuesday it serves hotel guests only.
