Cal Trucafort is a restaurant with rural guesthouse in the centre of la Bisbal de Falset, in a 19th-century farmhouse restored in 2000 that keeps its stone arches and wooden doors —one of the largest farmhouses in the Priorat. Its cooking is rooted in Priorat traditions and the lodging sleeps up to eight.
The menu features home-style cooking made with local products —oils, Priorat wines and Montsant herbs— including braised beef, roast pork with green pepper, grilled rabbit, snails cooked on a hot stone (a la llosa), and marinated wild boar. The restaurant caters mainly to guesthouse residents but also takes reservations by phone or WhatsApp; it is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm (also Saturday lunchtimes in summer, July to September), and closed on Sundays.
