Viticultors del Priorat

Viticultors del Priorat SL is the company, founded in 1997 in Bellmunt del Priorat, behind the Celler Morlanda estate, located at the south-western edge of the appellation. The property covers 82 hectares, 22 of which are planted with vines aged between 20 and 80 years, on soils of llicorella slate, limestone and red earth.

The project is built around Priorat's two most deeply rooted varieties, garnatxa (grenache) and carinyena (carignan), farmed to draw out the full potential and authenticity of the terroir. From this fruit the estate makes the Morlanda range - including a straw-yellow, fruity, fresh-entry white - and the red Mas de Subirà, marked by red and black fruit, a fleshy body and defined structure.

The winery has committed to sustainable, soil-conscious farming, and was among the first in the area to introduce the use of probiotics in the vineyard.
