Vins d'Alta Qualitat, SL is the legal name of the winery known commercially as Rotllan Torra, based in Torroja del Priorat. It is a family business founded in 1984 that makes wine from a historic building which, according to local tradition, was built by Carthusian monks from Scala Dei as a wine cellar.
The winery works with old vines, some over 70 years old, favouring hand selection of grape clusters and traditional winemaking methods, ageing in French and American oak barrels. It produces wines under the DOQ Priorat designation -including the Tirant, Balandra, Rotllan Torra Crianza and Rotllan Torra Reserva lines- as well as wines under the DO Montsant designation.
The winery offers wine-tourism activities, including visits and tastings at its premises in Torroja del Priorat.
