The domain reservadelatierra.com no longer hosts its own site: it now redirects straight to terracellars.es. According to archived copies of the site (2014-2018), Reserva de la Tierra was the trade name of a Spanish family wine group with roots in San Rafael (Mendoza, Argentina), from where the founding family returned to Spain to set up wineries under several appellations; the site named Felipe Giménez as its general manager. The group ran wineries in D.O.Ca. Rioja, D.O. Ribera del Duero, D.O. Rueda, and, in Catalonia, a bottling plant in Les Borges del Camp for D.O. Tarragona, D.O. Terra Alta and D.O. Catalunya wines, plus a separate winery in Priorat.
The Priorat winery was described, per the same archive, as sitting in the southeast of the region, with about 34 hectares of vineyard on llicorella (slate) terraces, farmed with Priorat's native Grenache and Carignan alongside planted Syrah and Merlot. From this fruit it made wines such as Mestral (D.O.Q. Priorat: Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, aged about six months in French and American oak), which won a silver medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2011 and commendations at the International Wine Challenge and Decanter that same year. We could not independently confirm the specific Cornudella de Montsant location or any current tie to DO Montsant: domontsant.com's own winery directory does not list 'Reserva de la Tierra' among its members, and the company's digital footprint appears to have been absorbed into the Terra Cellars brand.
