Bodegas B.G. is a family-run winery in Gratallops founded in 1997 by the Bordalás García family, who started out with simple, artisanally-run facilities but strict quality control. The winery's philosophy is to merge past and present: listening to the experience of previous generations, learning from modern techniques, and channeling both into wines with a character strongly marked by Priorat's terroir -the vine, the effort, and the slate soil known as llicorella.
The winery's building, on the T-710 road (km 9.5), has three floors of 328 m² each -two of them underground- with 90cm-thick stone walls, designed to move the must and wine by gravity. With around 15 hectares of estate vineyard and an annual production of roughly 15,000 bottles, the winery produces four red wines under the DOQ Priorat designation: El Sí del Molí, Fra Fort, Gueta Lupia, and Pamatura.
Visits require advance booking, last about two hours, are run in groups of 4 to 16 people, and include a vineyard tour and a tasting, offered in Catalan, Spanish, or French. Wines can also be bought directly at the winery.
