Agrícola d'Ulldemolins is an agricultural cooperative (SCCL) in the village of Ulldemolins, in the Silenci valley, between the Montsant Natural Park and the Serra de la Llena. Alongside its olive-oil business, traditionally its best-known product, the cooperative produces wine under the brand "Vins de la Vall del Silenci", certified under the DO Montsant appellation.
The wines are made from native varieties -black garnacha, white garnacha and macabeo- grown in poor, slate and limestone soils at around 600 metres of elevation, under a continental climate with Mediterranean influences. According to the cooperative, this terroir gives the wines a fresh character, with aromatic herbs and balsamic notes, aiming to express Ulldemolins' own identity.
The range includes labels such as Sssshhh, Les Pedrenyeres (in both red and white versions), Lo Carnisser and Aniceto. The cooperative also runs oil- and wine-tasting experiences open to visitors, in keeping with its slogan "Olis i Vins d'alçada" ("Oils and wines of altitude").
