Celler de Capçanes, a cooperative founded in 1933 in DO Montsant, offers several guided tastings: the Capçanes Tasting (€25), with four wines — young, semi-aged, aged and kosher — and the Four Terroirs Tasting (€25), which compares four Grenaches grown on four different soil types (sand, clay, limestone and llicorella slate).
For connoisseurs there is also the Premium Tasting (€35), focused on old-vine wines, and two dedicated kosher tastings: the Kosher Tasting (€40, or €35 per person for groups of 3 or more) and the Super Premium Kosher Tasting (€80, or €75 per person for groups of 3 or more). The cooperative is internationally known for its kosher wine.
Booking is required at least 48 hours in advance. On weekdays tastings start at 10am, 12pm and 3:30pm; on Saturdays only the Capçanes Tasting is offered, at 10:30am and 12pm. The winery is closed on Sundays, holidays and during the harvest.
