Bar L'Únic — today also presented as "L'Únic GastroBar" — is the village bar of la Morera de Montsant, at the foot of the Serra del Montsant, with a year-round terrace overlooking the mountain. It serves fork breakfasts, vermouth, tapas and a varied menu of local, home-style cooking with grilled meats.
Specialties include snails, patates braves, grilled chicken and a hefty one-kilogram aged beef chuletón (rib steak), alongside the traditional llesques (large toasted bread slices with tomato and cured meats). The menu is rounded out with a selection of local Priorat wines.
It's a simple, family-run place with affordable prices, frequented mostly by locals and hikers heading up into the Montsant massif.
