The Sant Salvador hermitage is a single-nave chapel, covered by a barrel vault, sheltered beneath a huge rock overhang, in the municipality of Margalef and the Serra de Montsant Natural Park. Archaeology dates it to around the 16th century; it was destroyed in 1936, later rebuilt, and restored again in 1982. Its bell is made from an old shell casing. Beside it stand the hermit's former cave-dwelling, with several adjoining rooms, and the remains of an even earlier dry-stone hermitage. The site is protected as a Local Cultural Interest Asset (BCIL, IPAC code 11276).
Next to the chapel is a picnic area with barbecues and a water fountain, and it serves as a starting point for hikes among Montsant's striking rock formations, reached by a signposted, recently cleared path from the village. Two festivities are held here each year: Sant Salvador on 6 August and Sant Marc on 25 April.
